Prestatyn High School - 2008
This project was completed for Denbighshire County Council in June 2008.
The contract was for the construction of a new two storey, four classroom teaching block.
The new building comprised of steel frame construction with external cavity walls with facework and rendered elevations employing the K-Rend System. The roof was monopitch and was also metal clad.
Aluminium/timber composite double glazed windows were fitted together with suspended ceilings, floor and wall finishes including decorations.
The building was equipped with a passenger lift and was serviced by mechanical and electrical installations to accommodate the specialist requirements of an adult teaching facility.
The new building was served by a new separate drainage system together with associated external works.
The project was completed in 36 weeks and had a contract value of £580,000.
